1. Role separation
CanineOps provides software. Tenant organizations provide pet-care services and control operational decision-making.
2. Organization-owned responsibilities
- Animal handling, care, transportation, and emergency decisions.
- Boarding, training, staffing, supervision, and client service operations.
- Veterinary coordination, waiver management, vaccination verification, and consent collection.
- Pricing, refunds owed to your own customers, complaints, and customer dispute resolution.
- Compliance with applicable local, state, federal, carrier, and industry rules affecting your operation.
- Accuracy, lawful basis, and rights associated with uploaded records, documents, images, and public content.
3. Access and permissions
Organizations must maintain role-based internal access, promptly remove former staff, avoid shared logins except where expressly allowed by internal policy and law, and protect credentials, devices, and exported data.
4. Public pages, communications, and marketing
Organizations are responsible for the legal accuracy of public SEO pages, claims, testimonials, media, and messages published or sent through CanineOps tools. Customers must not use the platform to publish misleading, infringing, defamatory, or unlawful content.
5. Data and records stewardship
Organizations should retain independent records where legally required and should not rely on CanineOps as a guaranteed archival repository. Customers are responsible for verifying the accuracy of uploaded data and limiting staff access to client or pet information based on legitimate business need.
