1. Scope

This policy applies to account, operational, billing, logs, and uploaded document data stored in CanineOps.

2. Active subscription retention

During active service, CanineOps retains tenant data needed to operate features, support workflows, security monitoring, and legal obligations.

3. Post-cancellation handling

After cancellation or termination, organizations may have a limited period to request data export where available. Access and export availability may vary by plan, account status, and elapsed time since cancellation.

4. Deletion timelines

CanineOps may delete or anonymize data according to internal schedules. Some records may be retained longer for fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

5. Backups and restoration limitations

Deleted data may persist temporarily in backups/disaster-recovery systems. Backup restoration timelines are not guaranteed. CanineOps is not a guaranteed archival service; organizations should maintain independent records where legally required.

6. Organization responsibility

Organizations are responsible for exporting and preserving records they are legally required to retain, including vaccination verification, waivers, incident documentation, and customer communication history.
