1. Scope
This policy covers account records, operational records, billing records, uploaded files, logs, and related metadata stored in CanineOps.
2. Active account retention
During an active subscription, CanineOps retains data needed to deliver features, maintain security, provide support, and satisfy legal obligations.
3. Cancellation and termination lifecycle
After cancellation or termination, access and export windows (if any) depend on plan terms, account status, and legal requirements. CanineOps may limit post-termination access for security, delinquency, or legal reasons.
4. Deletion and anonymization
CanineOps may delete, de-identify, or anonymize data according to operational schedules. Certain records may be retained for fraud prevention, accounting obligations, legal claims, or regulatory compliance.
5. Backups and recovery constraints
Data deleted from active systems may remain in backups for a limited period until backup rotation expires. Restore timing is not guaranteed for individual records.
6. Customer obligations
Customer organizations are responsible for exporting and retaining any records they are legally required to preserve, including client agreements, health-related intake records, incident reports, and communications histories.
7. Legal hold and investigations
Where legally required, CanineOps may preserve relevant data beyond normal schedules for legal hold, dispute resolution, or security investigations.
