Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: May 14, 2026 • Last Updated: May 14, 2026
Business Entity: CanineOps Inc. • Governing Law: Florida • Contact Email: legal@canineops.com
1. Subscription renewals
Paid plans renew automatically at the selected billing interval unless canceled before the renewal date. Renewal charges are authorized to your payment method on file through third-party processors.
2. Payment processors
Payments are processed by third-party providers (for example Stripe). CanineOps does not store raw full payment card data unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Refunds
Unless required by law or expressly stated in a written commercial agreement, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing cycle begins. Setup, migration, implementation, and professional-service fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation stops future renewals and does not automatically retroactively refund current-cycle charges. Access typically continues through the paid period unless suspended for policy or payment abuse.
5. Upgrades, downgrades, and proration
Upgrades may be billed immediately with prorated adjustments where configured. Downgrades generally take effect next billing cycle unless specifically offered as immediate.
6. Failed payments and suspension
If payment fails, CanineOps may retry charges and apply grace handling. If unresolved, access may be restricted, downgraded, or suspended until balances are paid.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
You agree to contact support first for billing disputes. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may lead to immediate suspension or termination and recovery actions where permitted by law.
8. Taxes
You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and government charges unless otherwise specified.

Attorney Review Recommendations
Review auto-renewal disclosure language, state cancellation/refund notice requirements, and chargeback handling enforceability.
Operational Risks to Consider
Ambiguous proration logic, weak dunning workflow, and inconsistent cancellation timestamps causing customer disputes.
Items Requiring Business Decision
Grace period length, proration behavior, annual plan break clauses, and partial goodwill-refund thresholds.
Suggested Future Compliance Improvements
Automated renewal reminders, standardized billing dispute SOP, and customer-facing invoice history exports.
